About
Adam Valainis
Adam Valainis is a burgeoning author who has written many grocery lists and well- received letters to Santa. By day, he is an investor and entrepreneur who holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross, a master’s degree from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. He is also: a former boxer and MMA practitioner, a short-careered rugby fullback, a part-time surfer, a full-time nerd, an occasional triathlete, an experienced backpacker, an average tennis player, an adequate skier, a golfer who is good enough to beat his younger brother, an avid reader, a publisher of poems that you’ll never find, a fine wine aficionado, a drummer, a world traveler, and a pilot-in-process.
Adam lives near the beach in Los Angeles, where he regularly surfs and does many other outdoorsy things, including raising several thriving succulents and about a half dozen abs (none of which are written off as dependents). He enjoys free food, sunny weather, and cartoon movies (he unabashedly wishes he was the guy version of Moana).
